The project is located on the Isle of Sheppey, situated throughout the landscape as a series of markers in space that form a geographical rhizome. It looks at how architectural fragments and layers can be extracted, peeled, and revealed to constitute a movable, spatial archive reflecting the alterations caused by the introduction of industry to the landscape. The project takes inspiration from the physics chaos and entropy theory in its logic, designed to question the linearity and objectivity of historical archives. And to provoke an exchange of stories, that weave a subjective and personal history of the island so complex it can never be grasped in its totality. A tool for uncovering history lost in the landscape.
