Individuals and memories, objects and spaces, these are elements that shift in parallel with one another, a unit within something larger than themselves. By tracing the shifts in people’s memory and the ageing of objects and spaces in people’s homes, the project aims to comprehend the beauty of decay and appreciate the state of things while it changes throughout time. Investigating the past and current spaces of these houses and fictionalising how the living spaces are transformed to decay. Questioning whether these memories of the individuals will be forgotten when the physical objects and spaces are destroyed or whether the memories stay within the individuals even when their homes fall off.
