To Predict The Caliber Of Wake, is an observation of the ritualistic habits through which the denizens of Seaburn Beach interact with their environment. The project proposes a fictional reality in which the extinction of a people whose crucial skills in reading the languages of nature leads to a new integration of the city and the sea; an infrastructural system which serves to both forecast weather and facilitate community engagement with the coastal ecosystem. Utilizing film as a means of producing the conceptual interventions, the intentional ambiguity of the visuals and the selective reveal of the system's design projects the atmosphere of the architecture without ossifying the structure in order to allow for a degree of interpretation in the mind of the viewer.
